Hello!

Let me start by saying thank you to the amazing group of people who have helped to make Giving Hunger The Blues the preeminent outdoor music festival in Sarasota!

It takes a lot of work and energy to make this incredible event happen, and we would never be able to do it without the combined efforts of our sponsors, our leadership team, our wonderful volunteers, and the talented musicians who draw an excited crowd.

Truly, it takes a village!

We have put together an amazing lineup of musical acts that will delight audiences this year. Adding a second major stage, which will feature Jazz, to the event is very exciting, and we could not have done it without the participation and support of the Jazz Club of Sarasota.

While last year’s event was the first one we did at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Center, it is as though we are returning home this year. The backdrop of Sarasota Bay, and the beautiful waterfront make a perfect environment for enjoying Blues and Jazz with your friends and family.
